Under the current agreement between the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) and the CINECA Inter-University Consortium, as an in-house body of the Ministry, the Consortium has been asked to provide the service of preparing the questions for the Admission Test for the Single-Cycle Degree course in Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, taught in English, and of organising and managing the test at the Italian and foreign sites.
The admission test consists of the solution of sixty questions with five answer options, from which the candidate must identify only one, discarding any incorrect, arbitrary or less probable conclusions, on subjects relating to: reading skills and knowledge acquired during studies, logical reasoning and problems, biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics.
- Four (4) questions of reading skills and knowledge acquired in studies.
- Five (5) logical reasoning skills and problems questions.
- Twenty-three (23) biology questions.
- Fifteen (15) chemistry questions.
- Thirteen (13) questions on physics and mathematics.
- Registering for the test will open on September 18, 2023 and close at 3:00 pm (Italian time) on September, 29, 2023, exclusively through the procedure available on the Universitaly portal in accordance with the procedures indicated in Annex 2.
- The admission test will be held on October 17, 2023 at the Italian universities as well as in the foreign locations indicated in Table A. The test at the Italian locations will begin at 12 noon (Italian time). The addresses of the locations (both Italian and foreign) at which the test will be held, with an indication of the classrooms, will be indicated in a subsequent notice. The procedures for holding the test are set out in Annex 1.
- On October 26, 2023, CINECA, on behalf of the Ministry of Universities and Research, will publish exclusively the score obtained by candidates according to the label code, on the site www.universitaly.it, in the area reserved for candidates and in compliance with the rules for the personal data protection. These data will remain available in the area reserved for candidates until the conclusion of the procedures.
- On October 31, 2023, candidates will be able to view their examination paper, score and personal data sheet on their reserved area of the Universitaly portal.
- On November 7, 2023, the national merit ranking will be published in the reserved area for students of the Universitaly portal.
