The University of Messina has long experience in conducting health awareness programs for the benefit of the community. To this end, programs and projects are offered to the local community to improve and promote health. In 2022, the University of Messina promoted blood donation awareness campaigns, such as the event called "3rd Abarth Blood Donation Day. Donating is life. Us first!” held for an entire week and the international conference "DONARTE 2022, Donation and Art: Nicholas And Rolly Testimonials" scientific event on the topic of organ donation and transplants.
