With a view to a fruitful collaboration with the “G. Martino” of Messina, the AIL (Italian Association against leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma) has financed a scholarship for Data Manager, a figure who plays a role of strategic importance in the field of clinical research and with the task of coordinating clinical trials which take place within the Hematology Operating Unit.
Furthermore, the AIL will make available to the Hematology Unit itself the contribution of a "Volunteer Civil Service Operator", who will provide his work for approximately n. 20 hours per week, carrying out a support activity and the role of communication facilitator, aimed at patients and their families to better deal with the path of the main onco-haematological diseases.
