The Advanced Training Course in ‘Contemporary Criminal Justice and Procedural Guarantees of the Individual’, organised by the Department of Law of the University of Messina, analyses with an interdisciplinary approach the most recent developments in criminal justice in the light of the transformations of contemporary societies, with specific attention to the evolution of procedural models and systems for the protection of the individual's fundamental guarantees in the perspective of the frameworks drawn by the constitutional charters and international case law on human rights.
The course will be carried out at the Department of Law, from 24 June to 12 July, 2024.
