If you're applying to the Medicine and Surgery Programme at the University of Messina, it's important to stay informed about the key dates and deadlines for the IMAT (International Medical Admissions Test) for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Only applications submitted concurrently on both the UniME and Universitaly portals will be evaluated, and admission letters issued. If you have only applied through the Universitaly portal (for IMAT registration and visa), your visa application will be considered only after the publication of the ranking list on October 10th.
Key Dates and Information to Remember:
- September 2, 2024: Registration opens on Universitaly.it.
Registration on Universitaly.it for the IMAT test is independent of the visa application process. It is important to note that obtaining a pre-enrollment summary or an admission letter is NOT a prerequisite for registering for the IMAT.
- September 12, 2024, 15:00 (GMT +2): Registration closes on Universitaly.it.
- September 17, 2024, 12 PM (GMT +2): IMAT takes place.
Information regarding the venue of the IMAT test center in Messina will be provided shortly. Please check for updates regularly to ensure you have the most accurate and up-to-date information. We encourage all candidates to regularly check for updates on the test center venue and other important information. - September 26, 2024: Anonymous ranking published.
- October 3, 2024: Access your test paper, score, and record.
- October 10, 2024: National ranking list released.
Extra-EU candidates who are marked as 'assigned' in the ranking list and intend to enroll at UniME must first log in to the University website and complete the registration process by following these steps:
Menu → Admission/Concorsi di Ammissione → Competition Registration/Iscrizione Concorsi → Single Cycle 6 Years → ESTERNI.
After registering, candidates must send an email to uop1.medsanvet@unime.it.
Candidates can only proceed with the online enrollment process after receiving a reply to this email. The online enrollment must be completed within four days of the publication of the ranking list. - October 17, 2024: Scrolling of the ranking list begins.
