Università degli Studi di Messina

The University of Messina has been engaged for several years in a policy aimed at freeing offices from smoke and regulating the use of tobacco within its facilities. The regulation, still in force, prohibits the use of cigarettes and other tobacco products (including electronic cigarettes) in all areas of the buildings within the University.

Furthermore, to combat the spread of smoking, a service aimed at treating nicotine addiction was activated in 2023.
