The kick-off meeting of the UCPM project – 2018 “Innovative tools for improving the Flood risk reductiOn stRategIeS (FLORIS)” was held in Messina at the Department of Engineering at the Papardo Campus on the 11th and 12th February, 2019. FLORIS has received co-funding from the European Union Civil Protection under UCPM-2018-PP-AG. The FLORIS project finances the study of innovative approaches for the development of a decision support tool for benchmarking in disaster reduction and flood risk management.
The University of Messina, as coordinator, obtained a co-funding of € 442 668, 00, to cover 75% of all eligible costs.
