Pre-evaluation for international students. Deadline: 18 JUNE 2020

All international students may enrol in one of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle programmes of the Italian University System. To be eligible for enrolment in the Italian University system, students must be at least 17 years old and have completed 12 years of schooling.

How to apply at UNIME?

1. Choose the Degree programme in which you would like to enroll in. You are allowed to submit applications up to three different programmes. Please choose the programmes according to your previous studies and review the admission requirements before submitting your application. In the section  “Study with us” is available the overall UniME academic offer in English and in Italian

2. Send the required documents to foreignstudents@unime.it  to receive a per-evaluation of your profile. The  documents you need to attach must be in English or translated into Italian by the Italian Diplomatic/Consular representation abroad. Further  information is available in the section “Admission to UniME“. Please use always your own email address to avoid confusion.

3. When you submit your application you will receive a questionnaire . In order to proceed with the application process, please answer the questions.

4. If your application is positively evaluated, you will receive an acceptance letter and may start the pre-enrolment procedures at the Italian Diplomatic/Consular Authority in your Country. Please note that due to the great number of applications, the evaluation of your application may be delayed. 

Applications will be assessed by a Departmental Commission assigned to evaluate candidates’ previous qualifications considering the entry requirements of the selected course: “Laurea” (Bachelor) or “Laurea Magistrale” (Master). 

Deadline for pre-evaluation applicants is 18 JUNE 2020.
The pre-acceptance letter for candidates to enrol in UniME degree courses  is to be considered only a support for the evaluation procedures of the dItalian Diplomatic/Consular Authority, and does not automatically imply the issuance of the visa.
Upon arrival in Messina students must hand over the High school diploma and the Bachelor’s degree in original along with the “Dichiarazione di Valore” issued by the Italian Diplomatic/Consular Authority or a certification released by ENIC-NARIC centres.
