The University of Messina promotes actions to encourage projects in research, both academic and collaborative, to grasp and enhance all funding opportunities offered nationally and internationally. In fact, scientific research is increasingly supported by the public funding system (Regions, Ministries, European Union), private (industry and private donors) and philanthropic (Foundations and Associations) through competitive calls for funding dedicated to the development of projects. It is therefore important to improve the design capacity of the University’s researchers and lecturers and to attract highly qualified researchers from outside, such as the winners of prestigious tenders and international awards.
