The University of Messina has published the call for applications for rent contribution grants under the CasaUnime programme for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Funding and eligibility
For the a.y. 2024/25, a total budget of €350,000 has been allocated to support off-campus students who meet the eligibility requirements specified in the call.
The maximum reimbursable amount for each student is €2,000.
Eligible applicants must:
- be enrolled at the University of Messina;
- have their temporary domicile in the Municipality of Messina and permanent residence in another municipality;
- have signed and registered a regular rental contract for at least 10 months, for accommodation located in the Municipality of Messina.

Deadline and application procedure
Applications must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. on 27 October 2025 through the Esse3 platform, which will be available from 1:00 p.m. on 10 October 2025.
