The University of Messina is pleased to announce the opening of the first Call for Applications for the UniME Foundation Course (UFC) for the academic year 2026/2027.
The UniME Foundation Course is a new preparatory programme designed for international students seeking access to Italian higher education. The programme is aimed in particular at students whose previous education does not meet the 12-year schooling requirement for university admission in Italy. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be eligible for direct admission to UniME open-access Bachelor's Degree programmes.
The UFC Programme inlcudes academic preparation in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and is also suitable for students planning to sit the IMAT entrance examination for Medicine and Surgery programmes.
Delivered in a hybrid format, the programme combines online classes during the first semester with on-campus activities in Messina during the second semester.
The UniME Foundation Course represents a new opportunity for international students to prepare for university studies in Italy and become part of the UniME community.
