Prior Learning Assessment Students

The University of Messina has announced that registration is now open for the CISIA Assessment Tests, which will be held in person only from March to June.

Students must sit the CISIA Assessment Tests within the first year of their course.

  • Test type: Depending on the Degree Programme (TOLC for Italian-taught Programmes, CEnT-S and Test-HUM for English-taught Programmes).
  • The Assessment Test is NOT selective: Failure to pass does not prevent enrolment, but results in the assignment of OFA debt (Additional Learning Requirements), which must be completed within the first year.
  • Open-access Degree Programmes: The test should preferably be taken before enrolment.
  • Locally restricted-access Degree Programmes: The CISIA assessment test coincides with the admissions test.
