On October 23, 2024, the University of Messina launched the S.A.F.E. U project (Sexual Awareness for Everyone at University), promoted by Rector Prof. Giovanna Spatari and developed by students of the Master’s Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro De Carlo. The initiative aims to foster sexual health and psychological well-being through monthly seminars, events, and collaborations with faculty, professionals, and volunteers. Activities will take place both within the University and across the city, focusing on STI prevention and the promotion of safe, responsible sexual practices. S.A.F.E. U stands out for its innovative and multidisciplinary approach, encouraging open and inclusive dialogue between academia and society.
