A collaboration agreement has been signed between the Pediatric Gastroenterology unit of AOU “G. Martino” in Messina and the Children’s Hospital of Shanghai, following a convention between the University of Messina and the National Children’s Medical Center. The partnership aims to develop research projects, training programs, and academic exchanges involving students, doctors, and researchers. Professor Claudio Romano, promoter of the initiative, highlighted the value of cooperating with one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the world, already affiliated with CHOP in Philadelphia and the Sick Children Hospital in Toronto. General Director Santonocito emphasized how this collaboration strengthens the international scope of the Policlinico, enhancing its role in teaching, research, and healthcare, with real benefits for pediatric patients.
