The University of Messina has finalised the list of students who have successfully completed their registration for the 2026 Graduation Day celebrations.

From 6 to 8 July, graduating students will be able to collect their graduation gowns and admission tickets for themselves and their guests at the Great Hall of the Rectorate. The graduation gowns are being distributed in preparation for the Graduation Day Ceremony, which will take place in Taormina on 22 July 2026. Students who previously booked the University’s shuttle service will also be able to collect their bus tickets.

Graduation gowns will be provided free of charge on a rental basis and must be returned at the end of the event. Students who are unable to attend the collection in person may authorise another individual to collect the gown and tickets on their behalf by completing the appropriate delegation form.

To streamline the process, collection has been organised alphabetically:

  • 6 July: graduates whose surnames begin with A–F
  • 7 July: graduates whose surnames begin with G–O
  • 8 July: graduates whose surnames begin with P–Z

The University has advised participants to follow the allocated schedule to reduce waiting times, although collection will also be possible on a different day during the designated opening hours.

For those using the University shuttle service to Taormina, coaches will depart from the University’s main campus in Piazza Pugliatti at 4.30 pm on the day of the ceremony.
