The University of Messina center inaugurated in March 2023 its sports medical rehabilitation center at the University Sports Center. The ribbon cutting was entrusted to some Unime athletes and students, present on behalf of the Volleyball and Water Polo teams of the SSD Unime (Società Speriva Dilettantistica).
This facility has restarted its activities after a few years of closure, with improved equipment and all the necessary health authorizations.
Among the services offered by the center, particular attention has been paid to cardio-respiratory rehabilitation and oxygen consumption. Furthermore, among the various offers, neurorehabilitation services are provided with baropodometric tests, post-transmutation rehabilitation, spinal pathology, tercartherapy, laser therapy, ultrasound, etc.
