Sunday 4 September 2022 at the Transfusion Medicine facility of the A.O.U. “G. Martino" in Messina, the blood donation awareness campaign promoted by the Abarth Club Trinacria in collaboration with the University Hospital of Messina was launched. The event called “3rd Abarth Blood Donation Day. Donating is life. Us first!” it lasted for the entire week until September 10th, involving the staff of our company.
The objective of the solidarity initiative was to inform and raise awareness among the population on the civic value of donating and collecting blood, retaining the occasional donor and making up for the slowdown recorded due to the Covid-19 emergency and the critical issues linked to its supply which, every year, occurs in the summer months.
