UniME enrolled students have the opportunity to use public transportation at a reduced price.
You have to select the item “Segreteria”, then “Iniziative-bandi” from your ESSE3 personal area and subscribe to the discounted ATM (Azienda Trasporto Messina) transport pass. The yearly fee is € 30. You can pay directly online with PagoPA or print the payment notice and get the student mobility card.
After completing the payment, you must log in to the ATM S.p.A. online platform and select the travel pass “UniME annual subscription” (issued free of charge). In the “Profile” section, the €30.00 PagoPA payment receipt issued by UNIME must be uploaded, and the Privacy Notice must be acknowledged. Once ATM S.p.A. staff receive the request, they will perform the necessary checks and approve it. For first-time issuances, the card may be collected at any ATM service desk (Cavallotti, Zir, Annunziata, or Front Office La Farina). In the case of renewals, the pass will be automatically loaded onto the student’s existing card.
Students enrolled in the University holding scholarships, grants, or are identified as trainees must contact the Welcome Point for assistance. Students must print the payment notice or go directly to the PagoPA payment tool.
UniME also offers free shuttle bus services to reach the Annunziata and Papardo Campuses.
