A scientific and healthcare initiative with an educational and inclusive value aimed at disabled and/or disadvantaged users, called "ECI - Education, Care and Inclusion" kicked off at the "University Sports Citadel" on 10 October 2022, taking place for a day a week for 2 months.
The project was co-financed by the Special Health Communication Office of the Regional Health Department of the Sicilian Region.
The Peloritano University has made the structures and qualified personnel of the University Specialized Center and the Riding Center of the UniMe Amateur Sports Society available to the ECI project, registered in the Regional Register of Specialized Centers and Non-specialized Structures that provide Animal-Assisted Therapies (TAA) and Animal Assisted Education (EAA).
