During the year, the University of Messina was strongly committed to organizing events aimed at sharing its sports facilities with the student and local community. In particular, it has turned its attention to the world of disability by organizing inclusive initiatives aimed at disabled and/or disadvantaged users, with the "ECI - Education Care Inclusion" project. It made its facilities available to students in the first edition of UnimeGames", a sporting event which saw teams made up of students from various departments compete in the most popular sports.
