The particular attention of the University of Messina to gender issues, together with the choice of the Single Guarantee Committee to create a broader involvement of the departments by entrusting specific delegations dedicated to "gender issues", gave rise to the planning of a series of seminars entitled “Pluralisms. Reflections on bodies, politics and gender representations". The proposed path is characterized by its markedly interdisciplinary nature and aims to combine and encourage the integration of different approaches, coming from different scientific disciplines.
Among the various seminars, particular attention was paid to "gender issues":
- “words not to say the story of violence in the judicial field” (20 May 2022),
- “the challenges and political relevance of feminism in the Seventies” (1 April 2022),
- “the words to say it: the Government's communication on violence against women”,
- “seductresses, saints, women in power: female biographies in Italian fiction” (25 March 2022).
