The particular attention of the University of Messina to gender issues and the involvement of the CUG (Single Guarantee Committee for equal opportunities), whose aim is to enhance the well-being of those who work and against discrimination, promoting equal opportunities for all the members of the university community, started the planning during 2022 of a series of seminars entitled "Pluralisms. Reflections on bodies, politics and gender representations".
On the occasion of the international days against violence against women, the “G. Martino” of Messina offered free consultations, visits, interviews, info points and information material to the female population, with the aim of supporting victims of violence and encouraging them to break the silence, providing concrete tools and addresses to turn to for help.
