Erasmus+ Mobility for Teaching (STA)

Erasmus+ Mobility for Teaching (STA)

The Erasmus + Staff Mobility for Teaching programme allows professors to spend a period of teaching at a partner Higher Education Institute  in one of the countries participating in the Erasmus Programme. The aim is:

  • to offer to the professors the opportunity for updating course and professional growth;
  • to stimulate universities to expand and enrich the range and content of their courses;
  • to consolidate the cooperation with institutions from different countries;
  • to promote the exchange of skills and experiences on teaching methodologies.

The following teaching categories are allowed:

  • full and extraordinary professors;
  • associate professors;
  • researchers.

Grants are awarded exclusively for a teaching period (MINIMUM 8 TEACHING HOURS a week) abroad as part of a mobility programme agreed between the University of Messina and the partner Institution that has signed an Interinstitutional Agreement with UNIME and that is a holder of ECHE. Starting from the Call a.a. 2018/2019 is given the possibility of carrying out a combined mobility for Teaching and Training (in which the teaching activity must be a minimum of 4 hours) to develop and increase the research or the acquisition of ipedagogical skills.
