Health and Wellbeing - Food choices on campus


Events were planned within the club-house, in collaboration with the Food Group of the University Commission for Sustainability, such as participation in Green Food Week, the week in which Italian canteens join together  to offer sustainable menus, offering dishes with a lower environmental impact. On this occasion, a vegetarian menu was proposed, focusing on products from short supply chain and organic.

Since 2022, an agreement has been in place for the management service of the cafeteria-restaurant at the Department of Engineering, whereby the University of Messina entrusts the management to the company Uni.Lav. S.c.p.a., which, in Article 2, also undertakes to apply a discount to students and university staff (faculty and technical-administrative staff).
